Ad Hoc Half-Cocked?
- Bad River tribal member, Sandra Deragon, recently
presented a formal complaint before the tribal council
during the regular monthly meeting on Oct. 7. During
her presentation she submitted a letter explaining how
her brother-in- law, Bob Deragon, was the victim of
malicious gossip perpetrated by Ad Hoc Committee
member Joyce Lemieux. The letter also contained
documentation of nepotism, biased elections, and
complaints pertaining to the way the Ad Hoc Committee
was selected (by the tribal council's use of a "secret
